The mountain village of
Shaharah was formerly a place of refuge for the Zaidite imams. This
bow bridge from the 17th century stretches over a deep gorge and connects
two villages on two neighboring mountains (Djabel al-Amir and Djabel
al-Feesh). This bridge is made of stones and was built by the architect
